Franzen’s Freedom

I’m almost ashamed to admit how skeptical I’ve been about this book.   Time Magazine, the New York Times review(s), and now Oprah.  But after listening to Mr. Franzen’s interview with Terry Gross on NPR — and hearing him read parts of the novel — he struck some chord and now I can’t wait to read it.
